I am a recent graduate of University of California San Diego where I completed my major in Human Biology. I graduated with a 3.97 GPA.
Experience
I would love to spend that time helping students master subjects including biology, math, and reading as well as developing their study skills. Additionally, I can help with writing and essay development (either for school assignments or for scholarships and other applications) and college preparation. For over a year, I have tutored students ranging from ages 7-18 around the community in a variety of subjects. I really enjoy the experience of helping students not just understand the material they were presented in class but develop critical thinking and problem solving skills to anticipate potential test questions and formulate strategies to reach their goals. Throughout my time at UCSD, I worked for various programs as a mentor so I understand how important it can be for a younger student to have a positive and patient role model when facing academic challenges.
